A cold winter was followed by a mild spring which encouraged early growth of the vine.
A frost on 21 April caused considerable damage but Château Mouton Rothschild, Château d’Armailhac and Château Clerc Milon were spared thanks to their favourable situation.

The wine has an attractive colour with a brickish tint and a nose that opens on aromas of leather, spices and cedarwood. Elegant, it offers well-integrated, substantial tannins and remains surprisingly fresh.Descriptive sheet
