In the barrel hall of Château d'Armailhac

The barrel hall at Château d’Armailhac can hold over a thousand barrels. After vinification in the vat house, the wine is taken in barrels down into the barrel hall, where it starts the maturing process. One-third of the wine will be matured in new barrels, one-third in one-year-old barrels and the remaining one-third in two-year-old barrels.

The wine will stay in the cask for 18 months, until it is bottled.
